Juliette Berthonneau and Victor Guerithault have teamed up to create a series of pleated kites. Seeking to create ever lighter and more resistant flying forms, they use the ripstop woven structure, which is tear-resistant, thin and transparent.

They designed a sail whose reinforcement consists purely of pleats, with no added components to make it more rigid. Resulting of both technical and sculptural research, the pleated fabric remains flexible. By its inherent characteristics, it modulates and adapts to the elements. The kite flies and unfolds its surface, adjusts to the force of the wind.
